Dr. Jesus Trevino is the Senior Executive Officer for the LinD Group and a former Chief Diversity Officer in the Higher Education system. As a senior level administrator in diversity and inclusion, Jesus has been able to affect real systemic change across various institutional types, sizes, and demographics. Here on the Chopping Block, Dr. Trevino talks about some of his accomplishments and some of the challenges he's faced en route to becoming a diversity coordinator, earning his Ph.D., and ultimately becoming an Assistant Vice Provost for Inclusive Excellence. His new consultant corporation, the LinD Group aims to pick up right where he left off in terms of advocacy and support for inclusive excellence.
